Description

This is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medication containing Ibuprofen, which belongs to the NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) class. It works by reducing pain, fever, and inflammation in the body.

Formula

Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 200mg.

• Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) or other blood clotting disorders
• Necrotising enterocolitis (severe colon infection)
• High bilirubin levels (hyperbilirubinemia)
• Liver diseases
• Congenital heart diseases

Precautions

• Monitor kidney and gastrointestinal function regularly.
• ECG must be done before starting treatment to check for pulmonary hypertension and heart disease.
• Monitor lung pressure if oxygen levels are low (hypoxemia).
• Use with caution in cases of infections.
• May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or tasks requiring alertness immediately after taking.
• Monitor blood pressure during treatment.
• Avoid alcohol consumption.

• Pregnancy: Risk cannot be ruled out. Consult your doctor before use.
• Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Possible Side Effects

Common:

Serious (with extensive use):

• Stomach bleeding
• Skin rash
• Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)
• Aseptic meningitis (inflammation of brain membrane) – rare
• White blood cell count changes
