Description

Inza contains Naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking substances in the body (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Doctors prescribe Inza for arthritis, muscle and joint pain, menstrual pain, and other conditions where swelling and pain are present.

Uses

Inza is used for:

  • Pain relief in acute migraine attacks

Dosage & How to Use

In Case of Overdose

Overdose can cause nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, stomach bleeding, or more severe complications. Immediate medical care is required.

Missed Dose

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double up.

When Not to Use

Do not take Inza if you have:

  • Allergy to Naproxen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs

  • History of asthma triggered by NSAIDs

  • Stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe digestive problems

  • Severe kidney, liver, or heart disease

  • Recent heart surgery (coronary artery bypass)

  • Over 65: Higher risk of side effects; dose adjustments may be needed

  • Pregnancy: Not recommended, especially in late pregnancy — consult a doctor

  • Breastfeeding: Use only if clearly needed and prescribed

  • Avoid alcohol as it increases the risk of stomach irritation or bleeding

  • Use cautiously if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or kidney issues

Drug Interactions

Naproxen may interact with:

  • Blood thinners (e.g., warfarin) — increases bleeding risk

  • Other NSAIDs or aspirin

  • Corticosteroids (e.g., prednisolone) — increases stomach ulcer risk

  • Diuretics and ACE inhibitors — may affect kidney function
