Metodine DF suspension contain diloxanide furoate & metronidazole in it. Diloxanide furoate is used for treating amoeba infections. While metronidazole acts as an antibiotic (acts against bacterial infections) & antiprotozoal (acts against protozoal infections) medication. It works by killing & stopping growth of infection-causing organisms like bacteria and parasites. It is indicated for treating bacterial & parasitic infections of liver, intestines, vagina, stomach, skin, heart & lungs.
