Description
Metronidazole is used to treat a variety of bacterial and protozoal infections of the mouth. It is also used prophylactically before dental procedures. It can be given with other antibiotics to reduce their gastrointestinal side effects.

The patient using this medication must wash their hands and the affected area before and after application. A thin layer of medication must be applied and the area where applied should not be covered with occlusive covering.
Please avoid contact with eyes.
Avoid exposure to UV light or strong sunlight.
