Mizicin

Description

Mizicin 250mg contains Azithromycin, an antibiotic used to treat respiratory, skin, ear, and certain sexually transmitted infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacteria from multiplying.

Indications

• Respiratory infections — pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis.

• Throat and ear infections.

• Skin infections — acne, cellulitis.

• Typhoid fever.

• Urinary and genital tract infections.

• Certain sexually transmitted infections.

Dosage

• Adults: 500mg once daily or 250mg twice daily (as prescribed).

• Typhoid: 500–1000mg once daily for 5–7 days.

• Children (6 months+): 5–12 mg/kg daily (max 500mg).
