Ozempic Dual Dose

Description

Ozempic Dual Dose Pen contains Semaglutide, a medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels before and after meals by supporting insulin release and lowering glucose production. Regular use also lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke in diabetic patients with heart disease. The pen provides two starting doses: 0.25 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks, followed by 0.5 mg once weekly as advised by the doctor.

Uses

Ozempic Dual Dose Pen is used for:

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Control of blood sugar along with diet and exercise

• Reducing risk of heart complications in diabetic patients

How to Use

• Inject under the skin in the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm.

• Use 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg once weekly.

• Take on the same day each week, with or without food.

• Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.

Side Effects

Some patients may experience:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Stomach pain

• Dizziness

• Low blood sugar

• Vision changes

• Gallbladder problems

• Pancreatic inflammation

• Allergic reaction in sensitive patients

Seek medical help if severe stomach pain, swelling, or breathing problems occur.

Warnings & Precautions

• Pregnancy: Not recommended. Stop at least 2 months before planned pregnancy.

• Breastfeeding: Safety not known.

• Surgery: Stop 24 hours before and after surgery unless told otherwise.

• Driving: May cause low sugar and dizziness.

• Medical history: Tell your doctor if you have pancreas, kidney, liver, eye, or heart disease.

• Alcohol: Avoid excessive use.

When Not to Use

Do not use if you have:

• Allergy to Semaglutide

• Diabetic ketoacidosis

• Severe kidney or liver disease

• Pancreatic problems

• Diabetic pre-coma or coma

Drug Interactions

Tell your doctor if you are using:

• Other diabetes medicines or insulin

• Blood pressure medicines

• Blood thinners

• Steroids

• Psychiatric medicines

Storage

• Store in a refrigerator (2°C–8°C). Do not freeze.

• After opening, can be kept below 30°C for up to 6 weeks.

• Protect from heat and light.

• Keep away from children.
