Description
Pomex is an anti-helminitic medication used to treat various types of worm infections. It works by targeting the muscle and nerve cells of the worms, causing paralysis, which results in the worms being expelled naturally through stool. Pomex is effective against infections caused by roundworms, threadworms, hookworms, and trichostrongylus. It is important to take Pomex exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and finish the full course of treatment, even if you start feeling better. Missing doses or stopping the treatment early may increase the risk of reinfection.
How Pomex Works
Pomex works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing paralysis. This leads to the detachment of the worms from the body, and they are then excreted through the stool.
