Doctor’s Review
Dr. Ahmed Khan – Consultant Rheumatologist
“Piroxicam is a long-acting NSAID that provides effective relief from arthritis pain and inflammation, often with once-daily dosing. I generally reserve it for patients with chronic arthritis who do not respond well to milder medicines. Because of gastrointestinal and cardiovascular risks, careful monitoring is necessary, especially in elderly patients.”
