Introduction For Baydal 10mg

• Baydal tablet contains cetirizine 10mg in it which is an anti-histamine
• It works by inhibiting histamine (natural body substance) which is involved in allergic reaction
• Indicated for relieving allergic symptoms & also used in allergic skin conditions.
• For oral administration
• Max dose in adults & children above12 years is 10mg per day.
• Tablets to be swallowed with a glass of liquid
• Avoid its use if you are allergic to cetirizine or any other ingredient present in baydal tablet
• Do not use it if you have severe kidney disease, or allergic to hydroxyzine or drugs in piperazine family (like buclizine, meclozine, cyclizine)
• In case of spinal cord lesion or prostatic hyperplasia which are predisposition factors of urinary retention, ask for doctor’s advice for cetirizine use
• Cetirizine can make you drowsy and alcohol or marijuana (cannabis) abuse can make you more drowsy. Therefore, avoid driving or performing high alert activities
• Not intended for use in children below 6 years
• Its caution is advised in pregnant females and lactating mothers, should only be used with a doctor’s advice

How To Use For Baydal 10mg

• For oral administration i.e. via the mouth
• Max dose in adults & children above 12 years is 10mg tablet once in a day.
• In children between 6 to 12 years, cetirizine is used 5mg taken twice daily.
• Tablets to be swallowed with a glass of liquid
• If self-treating and using it as over-the-counter medication, then read the product information leaflet before using cetirizine
• And if using upon doctor’s advice, then ask doctor or pharmacist for full details on its use
• It can be taken with or without food.
• Avoid alcohol consumption with cetirizine use.
• Store at room temperature away from the source of light and moisture
