Description

This combination tablet provides a synergistic antihypertensive effect by targeting multiple pathways that regulate blood pressure.

• Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes vascular smooth muscles, reducing peripheral resistance.

• Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, helps eliminate excess sodium and water, lowering blood volume.

• Valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), prevents vasoconstriction and reduces aldosterone secretion, leading to vasodilation and improved cardiac function.
  Together, these actions help control hypertension and reduce cardiovascular strain.

How It Works

The three active ingredients work by:

• Relaxing blood vessels (Amlodipine)

Dosage

Use exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably at the same time each day.

Food Interactions

• Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice.

• Limit alcohol intake as it may lower blood pressure excessively.

• Moderate consumption of potassium-rich foods (bananas, oranges, spinach).

• Separate dairy intake from dosing by a few hours.

• Avoid excessive licorice as it may reduce valsartan efficacy.
