Doctor’s Review
Dr. Ayesha Malik, Consultant Infectious Disease Specialist
“Sulzone (Cefoperazone) is an effective antibiotic for serious bacterial infections, particularly when resistant organisms like Pseudomonas are involved. It is often reserved for hospital use in respiratory, abdominal, and bloodstream infections. Since it may affect vitamin K levels, patients should be monitored for bleeding risk during prolonged treatment.”
