INDICATIONS

This medicine is used for the treatment of dementia (deterioration in memory) associated with

Alzheimer’s disease.

PREGNANCY

No damage of risk of damage in humans has been found to date, hence, it can be used but with caution.

LACTATION

It is advised to observe cautiousness while using this medicine.

SIDE EFFECTS

The side-effects are hallucinations, confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, tiredness, hypertension,

constipation, shortness of breath, balance disorders, and elevated liver function tests.

PRECAUTIONS

This medicine should be cautiously used in patients with liver and kidney impairment. Precautions

should be taken in patients with epilepsy (abnormal brain activity), history of convulsions (uncontrolled

actions of the body), recent myocardial infarction, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment.
