Description

Diclofenac Sodium 50mg is an NSAID that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, particularly COX-2, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins — chemical mediators responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. By blocking this pathway, diclofenac provides relief from swelling, stiffness, pain, and fever in various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.

Always follow your doctor’s prescription. Do not self-medicate.

Doctor’s Review

“Diclofenac remains one of the most widely prescribed NSAIDs for arthritis, joint pain, and inflammatory conditions. It is effective in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. However, due to potential gastrointestinal and cardiovascular risks, it should be used at the lowest effective dose and under proper medical supervision.”
— Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Arif, MBBS, FCPS (Rheumatology & Pain Management Specialist)
