Breeky 200mcg
Breeky has something called formoterol in it, which keeps your breathing tubes open for hours at a time. If you’ve got asthma or COPD, this stuff helps you breathe easier by relaxing the muscles around your airways. It stops that tight feeling in your chest and cuts down on wheezing.
What’s actually in it
Formoterol fumarate 200 mcg
How you get it
Capsules that go in a special inhaler (you don’t swallow them)
What doctors use it for
Keeping asthma under control when you’re also using steroid inhalers. Treating COPD so you can breathe better day to day. Sometimes preventing breathing problems when you exercise, but only if your doctor says so.
Using it right
You need the right inhaler device – don’t try to use these capsules any other way. Pop the capsule in your inhaler, breathe it in deep, then throw the empty capsule away. Don’t eat it. Most people use it twice a day, morning and night, but do whatever your doctor told you.
Things you really need to know
This won’t help if you’re having a bad asthma attack right now – you need your rescue inhaler for that. Rinse your mouth out after using it so your throat doesn’t get scratchy. Tell your doctor if you’ve got heart problems, high blood pressure, thyroid issues, or seizures. Don’t just stop taking it suddenly. Keep it dry and at room temperature.
What might bother you
Your throat might feel rough or your voice could get raspy. Some people get headaches. Your hands might shake a little. Your heart could beat faster or feel weird. If your chest hurts or you’re having more trouble breathing, call your doctor right away.
