Indications:
Thid medication is used as in immunosuppression in organ and bone marrow transplantation; prevention and treatment of graft versus host disease. Short term treatment of severe atopic dermatitis (eczema), severe psoriasis (skin disorder) and severe active rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disorder).
Pregnancy:
No definite data regarding pregnancy is available, therefore; be cautious. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Lactation:
This medication is contraindicated in lactating females.

Precautions:
Closely monitor renal (kidney) and liver functions, BP and serum lipids. Hyperkalemia (high potassium level), hyper uricaemia (elevated uric acid). Avoid excess exposure to UV light. Eldery and pregnant females.
Adverse effects:
Patients administered with this medication may experience hyperlipidemia, tremor, headaches, hypertension (increased blood pressure), GI upset, abdominal pain, hepatic (liver) and renal (kidney) dysfunction, muscle cramps, weight gain, rash, menstrual disturbances, pancreatitis (inflammation of pancreas) and muscle weakness.
