Description

Citanew is a medicine that belongs to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) group of antidepressants. In Pakistan, doctors prescribe it for:

  • Major depressive disorder

  • Generalized anxiety disorder (excessive worry and tension about daily life events)

  • Panic disorder

  • Social anxiety disorder

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in some cases

By increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain, Citanew helps restore chemical balance, which can improve mood, reduce nervousness, and ease symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Each tablet of Citanew contains Escitalopram 10mg or 20mg (depending on the prescribed strength).
