Colitran

Colitran contains Colistin, a powerful antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms. Doctors in Pakistan prescribe it for:

• Respiratory tract infections (such as pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections

• Abdominal infections

• Bloodstream infections (septicemia)

• Infections caused by resistant Gram-negative bacteria, especially in hospital settings

It works by damaging the bacterial cell membrane, leading to the death of the bacteria.

Formula

The active ingredient in Colitran is Colistin Sulfate (polymyxin antibiotic).
