Fenram

Fenram is an antihistamine used to temper the body’s response to allergens. When an allergic reaction occurs, the immune system releases histamine — a compound that can set off sneezing, a runny or congested nose, watery eyes, itching, and irritation of the skin. Fenram works by interfering with histamine’s activity, which in turn can ease these effects and make them less disruptive. It is commonly linked with relief from seasonal allergies, outbreaks of hives, and other conditions in which histamine plays a central role in producing symptoms.

How to Use 

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water; do not crush or chew.

• Can be taken with or without food; taking it after a meal may help prevent stomach upset.

• Try to take it at the same time every day for consistent effect.

• Do not exceed the prescribed amount.

• If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember — unless it’s almost time for your next one.

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems before starting Fenram.

• Share a complete list of all medicines, supplements, and herbal products you are using to avoid interactions.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use only under medical supervision.

• Fenram may cause drowsiness in some people — avoid driving or using machinery until you know how it affects you.

• Alcohol can increase drowsiness and is best avoided or limited.

Possible Side Effects

Common:

• Drowsiness or tiredness.

• Dry mouth.

• Headache.

• Mild stomach discomfort or nausea.

Seek urgent medical attention if you notice:

• Swelling of the face, lips, or throat.

• Rash accompanied by breathing difficulty.

• Rapid or irregular heartbeat.

• Severe dizziness or confusion.
