Fusicare

Description

Fusicare Cream contains Fusidic Acid, a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections. It helps stop the growth of bacteria at the infection site and is commonly applied to infected cuts, burns, impetigo, and skin folds affected by bacterial activity.

Indications

• Impetigo (crusted or weeping skin infection).

• Erythrasma (brown scaly patches in skin folds).

• Infected cuts, wounds, or burns.

How It Works

Fusidic Acid inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacteria from multiplying and allowing the skin to recover.

Directions

• Apply a thin layer 2–3 times daily or as prescribed.

• Do not use for more than 14 days unless advised.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.

• Wash hands after application.

Side Effects

• Itching or mild burning.

• Redness or irritation.

• Rash or hives.

• Blistering (rare).

Precautions

• Use with caution around the eyes, especially in children.

• Stop use if persistent irritation or allergy occurs.

• Do not use on large or deep wounds unless advised.
