Terazosin is used to treat high blood pressure. In men, it is used to treat urinary obstruction caused by

an enlarged prostate.

The side-effects of this medicine are fainting, dizziness, drowsiness, postural hypotension, lassitude (lack

of energy), nausea, palpitations, nasal congestion, blurred vision, and peripheral edema.

Q5. What are the precautions?

Patients with a history of syncope (fainting) are advised to use this medicine with caution. Avoid rapid increase in doses.
