Description
Jezeta contains Atorvastatin, a widely used medicine that lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It works by blocking an enzyme in the liver responsible for producing cholesterol. By reducing harmful cholesterol (LDL) and raising good cholesterol (HDL), it helps protect against clogged arteries and lowers the risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. Jezeta is commonly prescribed for patients with high cholesterol or those at risk of cardiovascular complications.

Doctor’s Review, Dr. Khalid Mehmood – Consultant Cardiologist, MBBS, FCPS (Cardiology), Lahore
Jezeta (atorvastatin) is a widely used statin medicine that helps lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. It is particularly important for patients with conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or a strong family history of cardiovascular problems. Regular follow-ups and lab monitoring — especially for cholesterol levels and liver function — are recommended to ensure safe and effective use. While most people tolerate the medicine well, some may experience mild side effects such as muscle aches or digestive discomfort. Within cardiology practice, Jezeta is considered a key option for long-term heart protection.
