Klaricid tablet contains clarithromycin in it which is a macrolide antibiotic. Macrolide antibiotics work by inhibiting the synthesis of protein in bacteria which is responsible for bacterial infection growth. Klaricid is indicated for treating wide range of bacterial infections like pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute maxillary sinusitis (inflammation and swelling of cavities around nasal passages), acute bacterial exacerbation of long-term bronchitis (worsening of symptoms of lung disease), community acquired pneumonia, & in skin infections like cellulitis, folliculitis, erysipelas etc.

• For oral administration i.e. taken via the mouth

• It can be taken with or without food after every 8 to 12 hours for 7 to 14 days.
• In case a dose is missed, then take it as soon as you remember on the same day. However, if next day has arrived, then take only that day’s dose and do not double it.
