Indications:

This medicine is used to treat heart diseases such as congestive heart failure.

Administration:

This medicine is used orally or intravenously. The intravenous form is injected by a medical professional. The dosage is dependent on the age, condition and its severity. Please consult your doctor before use.

If you are using the intravenous form at home, make sure you take all necessary precautions and inject t without causing any vascular damage.

Side Effects:

Anorexia (loss of appetite), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, visual disturbances, headache, fatigue, drowsiness, confusion, delirium, hallucinations, depression, arrhythmias, heartblock, rarely rash, intestinal ischemia (painful intestines), gynecomastia (enlargement of men’s breasts) on long term use, thrombocytopenia (deficiency of platelets)

Precautions:

Recent infarction, sick sinus syndrome (disorder of heart rhythm), thyroid disease, reduce dose in elderly and in kidney impairment, Avoid hypokalemia (deficieny of potassium in blood), avoid rapid intravenous administration, (nausea and risk of arrhthmias).

Contraindications:

Patients with various and severe heart diseases.
