Doctor’s Review
Dr. Saima Khalid, MBBS, FCPS (Infectious Diseases Consultant)
“Levofloxacin is one of the most reliable antibiotics for stubborn bacterial infections. I often use it for chest and urinary tract infections when other antibiotics don’t work. Patients must complete the full course and never stop midway, even if symptoms improve. It should be avoided in pregnancy, breastfeeding, or by people with tendon issues unless absolutely necessary.”
