INDICATIONS

This medicine is used for the treatment of anxiety accompanied with or without insomnia, also used in

alcohol withdrawal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

It is contraindicated in patients with pulmonary insufficiency and respiratory depression. Not

recommended in patients with depression and psychosis.

PRECAUTIONS

People with the following conditions are advised to observe cautiousness while using this medicine;

respiratory insufficiency, renal, and hepatic impairment. Avoid long-term use.

SIDE EFFECTS

The side-effects are drowsiness, unsteadiness, loss of balance, confusion, vertigo, gastrointestinal upset,

visual disturbances, headache, rash, and sexual disturbances. Blood disorders and jaundice are rare side-

effects.

PREGNANCY

Better to avoid during pregnancy, and should only be used when no safer alternative is present.

LACTATION

This medication is contraindicated in lactating females.
