Misar

Description

Misar contains Telmisartan, a medicine from the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) class. It is primarily used to control high blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke. By relaxing blood vessels, it allows smoother blood flow and lowers strain on the heart. Misar is well tolerated and often prescribed for long-term management of hypertension in adults.

Indications

Misar is prescribed for:

How It Works

Dosage

• Usual starting dose: 40 mg once daily

When Not to Use

• Have severe liver impairment or bile duct blockage

• Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels is advised

• Avoid excessive use of salt substitutes containing potassium
