Description
Amiloride is used treat high blood pressure, heart failure or edema. It also helps in the treatment of low blood potassium levels caused by diuretics. It is generally called a ‘water pill’ and causes your body to get rid of extra salt and water while also preventing the kidneys from getting rid of too much potassium.
How To Use
Take this medicine by mouth.
- You may take this medicine with or without food.
- The usual dose is of one tablet daily or as directed by your doctor.
- It is best advice to take this medicine at least 4 hours before your bedtime.
