Indications:
This medication can be used for malaria; liver infections such as: hepatic amoebiasis, giardiasis; and rheumatoid arthritis (disease of the joints).
Pregnancy:

Lactation:
This medication is contraindicated in lactating females.
Precautions:
Consult your doctor regarding precautions in patients with: Porphyria (blood disorders), liver or kidney problems, and skin diseases such as psoriasis. Eye tests should also be performed before therapy, and during it.
Adverse effects:
This medicine may cause headache , GI disturbances (upset stomach), skin eruptions (rashes) , or hair loss., depigmentation, blood disorders, myelosuppression (bone marrow suppression), convulsions (body muscles contract), cardiomyopathy (heart fails to pump blood), retinal damage and corneal changes.
