Description

No-Spa Forte contains Drotaverine Hydrochloride, an antispasmodic medicine that relaxes smooth muscles by blocking the enzyme Phosphodiesterase (PDE) IV. This increases cAMP levels in muscle cells, leading to muscle relaxation. It helps relieve pain caused by spasms in the gastrointestinal tract, urinary system, and female reproductive organs.

Uses

Doctors prescribe No-Spa Forte for:

• Menstrual pain. (dysmenorrhea)

• Abdominal cramps.

• Pain caused by kidney stones or gallstones.

• Gastrointestinal colic. (stomach and intestinal spasms)

• Spasms during childbirth. (cervical spasm)

• Urinary tract spasms.

Dosage

• Adults: 80mg (one tablet) one to three times daily, as prescribed by the doctor.

• Children: Not usually recommended in children under 12 years.

• Overdose: May cause weakness, dizziness, vomiting, headache, low blood pressure, or irregular heartbeat. Seek immediate medical attention.

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as you remember on the same day. If it is close to your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.

How to Use

• Take the tablet with a glass of water.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Swallow whole; do not chew or crush.

• Take at the same time each day for best results.
