Description
Novocef contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that fights a broad range of bacterial infections. It works by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) inside bacteria, which blocks the final step of cell wall synthesis. This weakens the bacterial cell wall, causing it to break down and eventually killing the bacteria. Novocef Oral Suspension is especially useful for children and patients who cannot swallow tablets, making it a convenient and effective option for bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, and other systems.
