Description

Ronex Syrup contains Cetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine widely used for the relief of allergy symptoms. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions, thereby reducing sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin rashes such as hives (urticaria). Unlike older antihistamines, Cetirizine causes less drowsiness in most individuals, making it suitable for both day and night use.

Primary Uses

Ronex Syrup is used for:

• Relief of hay fever (allergic rhinitis) symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy eyes.

• Treatment of skin allergies, including rash, itching, and hives (urticaria).

• Reducing allergic responses in seasonal or year-round allergies.

How it Works

Cetirizine blocks H1 histamine receptors in the body, preventing histamine from attaching and triggering allergy symptoms. This action helps in reducing nasal congestion, watery eyes, itching, and skin reactions.

Dosage

Side Effects

When Not to Use

Avoid Ronex Syrup if you:

• Are allergic to Cetirizine or any of its ingredients.

• Have serious kidney impairment.

• Patients with epilepsy, bladder problems, or difficulty passing urine should seek medical advice before using.
