Description
Silodosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). By relaxing smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, it improves urine flow and reduces urinary symptoms such as hesitancy, dribbling, and urgency. It is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine.

Doctor’s Review
Dr. Farhan Siddiqui – Consultant Urologist
“Silodosin is a well-established treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It significantly improves urinary flow and quality of life in men with enlarged prostate. Like all alpha-blockers, it may cause dizziness or low blood pressure, so patients should be monitored. When used properly, it is an effective and generally safe option for long-term prostate symptom relief.”
