Zotrim is a combination antibiotic medication that includes Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, commonly known as co-trimoxazole. This combination works synergistically to inhibit bacterial folic acid synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth and replication. Zotrim is primarily used to treat various bacterial infections.

Dosage

In Case of Overdose
Overdose may lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.
Missed Dose
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
How to Use
Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
