Description
Rosulin 5mg tablet contains Rosuvastatin calcium (5mg), a statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor) widely used for lowering cholesterol. It works by blocking the enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, effectively reducing LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, while raising HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol). By correcting lipid imbalances, Rosuvastatin lowers the risk of heart disease, strokes, and heart attacks.
The medicine is most effective when combined with lifestyle modifications such as a low-fat diet, regular exercise, weight management, and smoking cessation.
