Used For

How It Works

Itopride hydrochloride improves gastrointestinal motility by two mechanisms:

• Dopamine D2 antagonism: Enhances release of acetylcholine.

• Acetylcholinesterase inhibition: Prevents breakdown of acetylcholine.
  Together, these actions increase gastric emptying and relieve dyspeptic symptoms.

Usage & Safety

Side Effects
