Description
Desloratadine is an antihistamine medicine used to relieve common allergy symptoms. It helps control sneezing, runny nose, watery or itchy eyes, hives, and itching. Doctor’s Review
Doctor’s Review
Dr. Aamir Siddiqui – Consultant Allergist & Immunologist, MBBS, FCPS (Allergy & Immunology), Karachi
In my allergy clinic, I regularly prescribe Desloratadine to patients with persistent allergic rhinitis and hives. It works well to control sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, and most patients tolerate it without feeling drowsy. I do remind patients to take it daily at the same time and to avoid alcohol. In my experience, Desloratadine is a safe and effective choice for both seasonal and year-round allergy control.
