Limigzol

Limigzol 2.5mg tablet contains Zolmitriptan, a medicine used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, with or without aura. It works by narrowing blood vessels around the brain and blocking pain signals, providing relief from the throbbing headache and associated symptoms of migraine.

How to Take

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break.

• This medicine should not be used within 24 hours of taking another migraine treatment.

• The maximum daily dose is 10mg (4 tablets).

• Always follow the prescribed dosage given by your doctor.

Uses

• Relief of migraine headaches with or without aura (sensory disturbances).

Side Effects

Some patients may experience:

• Nausea or dry mouth

• Dizziness or drowsiness

• Weakness or fatigue (asthenia)

• Muscle heaviness in the throat, neck, chest, or limbs

• Temporary rise in blood pressure

• Headache after use

• Rarely, allergic reactions or changes in heart function

Seek medical help immediately if you experience chest pain, severe dizziness, or signs of an allergic reaction.

Warnings & Precautions

• Pregnancy: Safety not established; consult your doctor before use.

Contraindications

Do not use Limigzol if you have:

• Uncontrolled high blood pressure

• Ischemic heart disease, Prinzmetal’s angina, or Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome

• Severe kidney or liver impairment

• History of stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA)

• Certain rare migraine subtypes (e.g., hemiplegic or basilar migraine)
