This is an anti-epileptic medication containing Clonazepam, which belongs to the benzodiazepine class of drugs. It works by calming brain activity to control seizures and panic attacks.

Formula

Each tablet contains Clonazepam 2mg.

What It’s Used For

Pakistani doctors use this for:

• All forms of epilepsy (brain disorder causing seizures)
• Treating and preventing seizures
• Panic attacks

How to Use

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Dosage depends on age, condition severity, and weight (for children).
• Don’t overuse—may lead to addiction and decreased effectiveness.
• Don’t stop suddenly without your doctor’s advice.

Who Shouldn’t Use It

• Patients with acute pulmonary insufficiency
• Respiratory depression (decreased breathing)
• Sleep apnea (interrupted breathing during sleep)
• Breastfeeding women (may harm nursing infant)

Use With Caution If You Have

• Chronic pulmonary insufficiency
• Mild to moderate liver (hepatic) impairment

Precautions

• May cause dizziness—avoid driving or tasks requiring alertness immediately after taking.
• Avoid alcohol consumption.
• Using with opioid medicines may cause severe side effects and can be fatal.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

• Pregnancy: Use only if no safer alternative is available. Consult your doctor before use.
• Breastfeeding: Should be avoided as it may have harmful effects on nursing infant.
