Description

Miura-D Injection contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), a fat-soluble vitamin that helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus. It supports strong bones, teeth, and muscles. This injection is used to prevent and treat vitamin D deficiency in children and adults. It can be given orally or through intramuscular (IM) injection as advised by a doctor.

Specification

  • Generic Name: Cholecalciferol

  • Used For: Vitamin D deficiency and bone health

  • Dosage Form: Oral / Intramuscular Injection

  • Strength: 5mg/ml

  • Prescription Required: Yes

How It Works

1-Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is produced naturally in the skin when exposed to sunlight. In the body, it is converted first in the liver and then in the kidneys into its active form, 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol.
2-This active form helps regulate calcium and phosphate balance in the blood, along with parathyroid hormone and calcitonin.
3-Proper calcium levels support healthy bone formation, muscle strength, and overall body function.

The dosage of Miura-D Injection depends on the patient’s age, health condition, and level of deficiency. It should be given as directed by a doctor.
