How It Works

1-Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is produced naturally in the skin when exposed to sunlight. In the body, it is converted first in the liver and then in the kidneys into its active form, 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol.
2-This active form helps regulate calcium and phosphate balance in the blood, along with parathyroid hormone and calcitonin.
3-Proper calcium levels support healthy bone formation, muscle strength, and overall body function.

Dosage

The dosage of Miura-D Injection depends on the patient’s age, health condition, and level of deficiency. It should be given as directed by a doctor.

Indications

When Not to Use

Do not use Miura-D Injection if:

• You have kidney stones or a tendency to develop them

• You have pseudohypoparathyroidism

Precautions

• If you are taking other Vitamin D or calcium supplements, discuss the total dosage with your doctor

• Regularly check blood and urine calcium levels during treatment

• Avoid overdose as it may cause calcium buildup in the body

• Use cautiously if you have kidney or liver problems

Warnings
