Neurogabin-M

Description

Neurogabin-M 100mg Capsules contain gabapentin. It is used to manage neuropathic pain and certain types of seizures. Gabapentin acts on sites in the brain that affect nerve signals. By calming abnormal activity in the nervous system, it helps reduce pain from damaged nerves and supports seizure control.

Uses in Pakistan

Doctors may prescribe Neurogabin-M for:

• Neuropathic pain in adults

• Partial seizures (with or without secondary generalization) in patients above 12 years

Dosage

• Use only as prescribed by your doctor

• Dose depends on age, condition, and response to treatment

Side Effects

Common: dizziness, drowsiness
Less common: dry mouth, diarrhea, swelling in hands or feet, weight gain, memory issues, skin rash, vision problems
Rare: back pain, constipation, nausea, confusion, breathing difficulty, sore throat, weakness

Drug Interactions

Gabapentin may interact with:

• Anti-seizure medicines (phenytoin, valproic acid, carbamazepine, phenobarbitone)
