Description

Pk-merz tablet contains amantadine in it which belongs to the class of dopamine agonists i.e they work by increasing dopamine hormone level in parts of the body. Amantadine also has antiviral activity as it acts against influenza A virus (cause of influenza infection) and stops the spread of virus in the body. It is indicated in Parkinson’s disease (brain disorder causing problem in movement and coordination), extrapyramidal reaction (having continuous muscle spasm and contractions), influenza A infection (uncomplicated respiratory tract infection) & in prophylaxis (prevention) of influenza A infection.
