Description
Primox DS is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It contains Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, which work synergistically to combat bacterial growth. Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, prevents bacteria from forming cell walls, causing the bacteria to die. Clavulanic Acid helps to protect amoxicillin from being destroyed by certain bacterial enzymes, making it more effective. Primox DS is used to treat infections in the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues.

Doctor Review
Dr. Nadia Farooq, MD, General Practitioner:
“Primox DS is a reliable and effective treatment for a wide range of bacterial infections. It is particularly helpful for patients who need a broad-spectrum antibiotic for respiratory, urinary, and skin infections. However, like all antibiotics, it should be used responsibly to avoid resistance. Patients should monitor for any signs of side effects, particularly gastrointestinal disturbances or allergic reactions. Always complete the prescribed course and consult your healthcare provider if any adverse reactions occur.”
