Description
Ropsol Eye Drops contain Cyclosporine 0.05%, an immunomodulatory agent used to manage chronic dry eye disease caused by ocular inflammation (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). While the exact mechanism of action is not fully known, it is believed to reduce inflammation in the eye, thereby improving the eye’s natural tear production. This provides long-term relief for patients with moderate to severe dry eye conditions.
Primary Use
-
Chronic Dry Eye Disease (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca)
-
Helps restore natural tear production suppressed due to ocular inflammation
How it Works
-
Cyclosporine acts as a partial immunomodulator, suppressing ocular surface inflammation.
-
This reduces irritation and allows the lacrimal glands to increase tear production, improving lubrication of the eyes.
Dosage

Shake well before use.
-
Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s).

Doctor’s Review
Dr. Ayesha Khan (Ophthalmologist):
“Cyclosporine eye drops like Ropsol are an important therapy for patients with chronic dry eye disease that does not respond to artificial tears alone. By targeting the underlying inflammation, they help restore tear function and provide long-term relief, although patients may experience temporary burning or blurring upon application.”
