Description

Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce excess stomach acid. It is commonly prescribed in Pakistan for:

• GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)

• Acid-induced damage to the esophageal lining

• Prevention of ulcers in people using NSAIDs (painkillers)

• Treatment of ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori (in combination with antibiotics)

By lowering stomach acid production, it helps relieve heartburn, indigestion, reflux, and stomach discomfort.
