Te-Anatoxal is a tetanus toxoid vaccine used to prevent tetanus (lockjaw) — a serious bacterial infection caused by contaminated wounds. The vaccine contains an inactivated form of the tetanus toxin (toxoid) which triggers immunity without causing the disease.

Doctor’s Note
Dr. Hassan Raza (Consultant Immunologist) states that tetanus vaccine remains the only reliable protection against lockjaw, as the infection itself cannot be cured once it appears. Even minor injuries should be taken seriously if vaccination history is unclear.
Disclaimer
This vaccine should not be self-administered. It is not suitable for individuals with severe fever, past allergic reactions to tetanus vaccine, or Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before receiving a dose. All vaccination decisions should be made under medical supervision.
