How It Works

Risperidone works by balancing the levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, mainly dopamine (D2) and serotonin (5HT2). Side Effects

Drug Interactions

Use with caution when combined with:

• Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Carbamazepine, Ranitidine, Cimetidine, Erythromycin, Amitriptyline, Levodopa, Ketoconazole, Verapamil, Furosemide, Paliperidone, Rifampicin, or anticholinergic drugs.
  These may alter risperidone’s blood levels or increase side effects.

When Not to Use

Do not use if allergic to Risperidone, Paliperidone, or any component of the tablet. Avoid in cases of previous severe allergic reactions or angioedema.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
