Introduction
Vonozan 20mg contains Vonoprazan, a next-generation acid-reducing medicine used to treat gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, acid reflux (GERD), and prevention of ulcer recurrence, especially in patients taking aspirin or NSAIDs. Unlike traditional PPIs, it offers faster and stronger acid suppression.
How It Works
Vonoprazan blocks H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzymes in stomach lining cells through potassium-competitive inhibition, stopping acid production without requiring activation by stomach acid. It binds strongly and remains longer at the acid secretion site, offering sustained protection of the stomach lining.

Doctor’s Review
Dr. Hasan Raza (Gastroenterologist):
“Vonoprazan offers rapid and sustained acid control, often outperforming traditional PPIs in healing ulcers and reflux. It’s particularly useful in patients resistant to standard treatments, but long-term use should be monitored carefully.”
