Description
Zestril Tablets 5mg contain Lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor that lowers blood pressure by blocking the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II—a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By relaxing and widening the blood vessels, Lisinopril helps reduce blood pressure, improve blood flow, and decrease the workload on the heart. It is effective even in patients with low-renin hypertension and is widely used for hypertension, heart failure, and post–heart attack recovery.

Doctor’s Review — Dr. Imran Siddiqui, Consultant Internal Medicine
“Zestril (Lisinopril) remains one of the most reliable first-line treatments for hypertension and heart failure. Its protective effects on the heart and kidneys make it especially beneficial in diabetic and cardiac patients. However, blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels must be monitored regularly.”
