How It Works

• Zoledronic acid is a bisphosphonate that binds to bones, slows bone breakdown, and helps restore calcium levels in the blood to normal.

Dosage

• Given as an intravenous (IV) infusion over 15 minutes.

• Typical dose: 4mg as a single infusion; a second infusion may be given if calcium levels rise again.

• Administered only by a trained healthcare professional.

• Symptoms: dizziness, numbness, tingling, muscle cramps.

Storage

• Store vials in a cool, dry place below 30°C.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not store in bathrooms or cars.
